Volunteer Opportunities...

Here is a list of volunteer opportunities at Ogallala Women's Resource Center:

Life Mentor
Trained, peer-volunteers who work directly with the clients. (We are always needing persons to serve in this manner.)

Requirements include:

1. A desire to serve by working one-on-one with the clients of the Center.
2. Agreement with and acceptance of the Center's Mission Statement, Statement of Principle, and Statement of Financial Integrity as well as Care Net's Pregnancy Center Standards and Affiliation, and Our Commitment of Care and Competence.
3. Agreement to receive the required training to serve in this position.
4. Agreement to serve at the Center no less than four hours/week for at least one year.
5. Ability to work in at confidential atmosphere and maintain a confidentiality at all times.

Life Supporter
Volunteers who assist behind the scenes (e.g. liaison between the center and their church; assist with preparing mailings, sort and display material items for use by our clients; staff information booths

Life Investor
Individuals, churches, organizations & businesses who provide financial and material assistance for the center

Member of the Board of Directors
